Welcome to the parent hub!

Hey Parents! This is your online way of keeping up to date on what's going on here at the Anchor! We are firm believers that our role first and foremost is to partner with parents in investing in the spiritual health of students. We hope that this page will help you stay connected to all of our different events, and more importantly what we are teaching at our mid-week and Sunday programs. We encourage you to use what we are teaching as conversation starters with your students! Your investment and interest in what they are learning at the Anchor will have much greater impact than we can hope to have for the few hours we have them on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. Please bookmark this page to see what’s going with the Student Ministries at Grace!

What is my student studying?

Sundays

The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered, chronological study that will take your students on a journey through the storyline of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. Along the way, students will discover the big picture of what God has been doing throughout redemptive history, and what it means for them.

Midweek

Your students are hungry for truth, and God is calling them to His Word, not just to read it, but to know it and live it. Explore the Bible takes your students book-by-book through Scripture, equipping them to study the Bible together and for themselves. Each session works to help students understand what the Bible is really saying, how to study it, and how to live its truth at home, school, and in their communities.

Parents in T.U.N.E.

Parents in T.U.N.E. is our ministry to provide parents with resources for Teaching, Understanding, Nurturing, and Equipping your teens. We will be partnering with a psychologist during these sessions. Join us on March 22nd, June 7th, and September 2nd!

How can I get involved and serve?

We are always looking for people to join our student ministries team. There are two requirements we ask of all our leaders: You must love Jesus and love students. That is it. So if you fit the mold, please feel free to come on a Tuesday or Wednesday and check it out. All of our team members are required to fill out a background check and attend a Standards of Conduct training, so if you decide it is for you, we will get you started on the paperwork. Once the paperwork is done, you will be an official student ministries team member! We're looking forward to building God's Kingdom among students here in Tracy with your help!
